The Belyuen Community Government Council has undertaken a review to assess the adequacy of the constitutional arrangements presently in place and, in particular, whether they provide the most effective representation for the council area.
The review was undertaken in accordance with Section 23 of the Local Government Act 2008.
Council resolved at their 28th July 2020 meeting that the current constitutional arrangements still provide effective electoral representation and that there be no proposed changes to the current constitutional arrangements. Please see the full report here.
