Home Support Worker Vacancy


Working in your local area, you will have experience in domestic assistance and genuinely enjoy supporting elders to remain living in their own homes.
As you will be mobile in the community you must be comfortable working alone, visiting clients’ homes and providing services such as domestic assistance, food preparation, personal Care and shopping.
You will be well-supported in your role by our Case Manager and will receive training and the resources required to perform in your role.

Key requirements:
  • A caring and compassionate nature - you genuinely enjoy looking after and helping the elderly
  • "Can do" attitude with good communication skills
  • Full working rights is Australia
  • National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Flu Vaccination
  • Current First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain)
  • Open Australian Drivers Licence

The Belyuen community is located on the eastern side of Cox Peninsula, approximately 20km south of Mandorah. It is 128 km by road from Darwin. Alternatively, a Ferry trip from Darwin to Mandorah takes approximately 14 minutes and leaves at regular times daily (for more information regarding ferries please refer to the SeaLink NT. There are no public transport services available on the Cox Peninsular.
